Jip (John Ip) is a Hong Kong entrepreneur, tattoo artist, and creative innovator whose work bridges technology, art, and culture. As the founder of Mirror Tattoo and Oh My Ink, he is on a mission to redefine the global tattoo experience through creativity and innovation.

Jip’s entrepreneurial journey spans multiple industries, having founded several startups and advised international companies on business strategy and innovation. In 2018, a chance encounter introduced him to tattooing, igniting a passion that led him to become a self-taught tattoo artist and establish Mirror Tattoo.

Under his leadership, Mirror Tattoo has grown into one of Hong Kong’s leading boutique tattoo studios, earning recognition from Inked Magazine, Time Out, and Sassy Hong Kong. The studio has welcomed clients from around the world, including internationally renowned artists such as OneRepublic and Dermot Kennedy, and collaborated with local production house 16:9 on the tattoo documentary series 852Ink.

Building on his experience in the tattoo industry, Jip founded Oh My Ink, an art-tech startup developing AI-powered tattoo technologies designed to modernize how people discover, experience, and connect with tattoo artists. Through both Mirror Tattoo and Oh My Ink, he continues to push the boundaries of what the tattoo industry can become, bringing together technology, creativity, and human connection to shape its future.
